THE IRONY OF THE PLASTIC BAG
Back in the day when Easter Europe was still separated by the iron curtain from the rest of the world, a plastic bag was a coveted commodity. Contrary to current times, the bag was not disposable, it was washed and taken care of as a piece of clothing. If one managed to get their hands on a plastic bag with a Western brand logo, it was worn with pride as a hand bag.
Disposable plastic bags transformed into precious carriers using hand embroidery so one can experience what it is like to cherish a transient object
